Professional Dog Walker (Self-Employed Subcontractor)

Covering: Catford, Hither Green, Lee, and surrounding areas

Cwtches Dog is an established dog walking, training and behaviour company based in South East London. We are seeking a professional, capable dog walker to join our small but ambitious team. We have an immediate requirement for Tuesdays and Thursdays, with strong potential for additional days and increased responsibility as the business continues to expand.

This is a professional role where safety, welfare, structured group management and enrichment come first.

The Role

• Managing and walking small, well-matched groups of dogs

• Handling dogs of varying sizes, breeds and temperaments confidently

• Working in woodland environments across SE London

• Initially Tuesdays & Thursdays

• Opportunity to work to up to 5 days per week

• Typical hours: 8:00am–2:00pm

• Active outdoor role in all weather conditions

• Competitive pay per walk, based on experience

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Has previous professional dog-handling experience (walking, daycare, training, kennel work, etc.)

• Understands group dynamics and safe dog management

• Is confident advocating for dogs and making sound judgement calls

• Is reliable, punctual and self-motivated

• Has a clean UK driving licence

• Has their own suitable transport (car or van)

• Is willing to be DBS checked, insured and dog first aid trained

• Is interested in growing with a business long-term
